Simulated Hall Effect

The VEGA 2800503 Resolver to Digital Converter uses the resolver signals to produce three Hall type signals at TTL levels to duplicate the signals required by drives using Hall effect sensors to determine the shaft position for commutation purposes. This makes the 2800503 ideal for retrofitting drives that require indication of the shaft position in order to commutate the winding power of AC servomotors with resolvers.

High Speed Tracking

The tracking rate is a function of the excitation frequency and quadrature counts. With a 10 kHz excitation and 8192 quadrature counts the tracking rate would be 36,621 resolver cycles per minute.
